_bLaCk team. . .CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

To all the competing teams of this event, we are all winners because we’ve made the CA Sports fest 2009 a successful activity in gaining friends and learning from them whom we meet outside the four corners of the classroom.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Let’s make it this coming Intramurals 2009.

The Hidden Cultural Admiration with in a known Filipino Artist

He values Cordillera culture. His art works and films focus on cultural awakening. I thank God for we had the chance to interview him though he has a busy schedule. We learned lot from this man. He is defined as Simple, Intelligent and Humble.

The one only Kidlat Tahimik will be considered as a great contributor for cultural integrity. Thanks Kuya, Tatay, Sir. You served as an inspiration for us.

In terms of commitment

The show, Power to Unite with Elvira entertained two MasCom instructors from the University of the Philippines. One of the guests said that dealing with communication is not just a glamour career. It means hard work and discipline. It also includes passion, commitment and public service.

As a Development Communication (DevCom) student, I’m happy to hear this statement from them, it helped me understand more our hardships. Somehow, they inspired me. Even though we are stressed with all our paper works, we still have to rise and face the challenge as Public Servants.

ALL ABOUT WORDS AND ACTS

I attended the mass last Sunday and I was really inspired.
Based on the script, Jesus said that it is not what man takes in that makes him bad, rather the goodness of man’s heart reflects the real man and the son of God.
True! It is not all about staying at the church praising and praying for how many hours but it’s all about what we do outside the church for a long period of time. Attendance in the church does not determine the real act of a man.
It’s not all about what we do during Sunday, but what we do from Monday to Sunday.
This is a simple reflection of who we really are.

D¹°= D³

With the theme, “A decade of dashing, daring and determined,” University Secretary ma’am Grace Bengwayan converted it to mathematical equation, D¹°= D³.

I thank God for this week because we were able to celebrate a decade for DevCom program. It has been 10 years f sacrifices and struggles in which we owe to the pioneering batch. Yes! It is worth to be celebrated.

I will never forget this week. I learned so many things from the opening of the week until the closing. It was not just a week full of fun, rather it dared to inspire every faculty member and student to strive harder until DevCom would become a college.

This is it! I realized that we really have a great responsibility in this institution. What touches me most is the 8th Little Victories. I would just have to keep inside my realizations in this real world.

I hope and pray that we could also accomplish what our brothers have accomplished during their internship.

Indeed, this celebration is of great help not only for me, but for us, the lower years.

Mabuhay DevCom!
